Harris Development Limited (HDL) is a not-for-profit community development company, limited by guarantee.

Established in 1994, HDL´s Board of Directors is made up of members of the local community, working in a voluntary capacity, supported by advisers from local agencies: the Local Authority Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, and Scottish Natural Heritage.

Board Members from the community have a wide range of expertise and experience, and their remits include:
